The Forum Takes Part in PA's State of the Woman Listening Tour

Amplifying women's voices across the Commonwealth, one conversation at a time.

In March, Forum President & CEO Meghan Pierce helped facilitate a session of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Women's State of the Woman Listening Tour, a landmark initiative gathering lived experiences from women across Pennsylvania.

The tour is building toward something historic: the first comprehensive State of the Woman Report in more than two decades. By centering real voices and real stories, the Commission is laying the groundwork for policies that reflect the lives of Pennsylvania women today.

A special shoutout to Forum member Lila Slovak, from the Women's Law Project, for asking one of the first questions of the session, setting the tone for a meaningful and candid conversation.

We're also grateful to the Free Library of Philadelphia for hosting this session at Parkway Central Library, providing a welcoming space for women's voices to be heard.

We're also proud to recognize two Forum community members serving on the Commission: Stephanie Gambone (Philadelphia County) and Yocasta Lora (Philadelphia County). Thank you both for your commitment to this work.

Every year, Mentoring Monday reminds us why our work matters — not just in boardrooms and C-suites, but in the moments when one woman looks another in the eye and says: I see you. Keep going .

On March 16th, The Forum was proud to sponsor and lead the Philadelphia Business Journal's Mentoring Monday, bringing together some of the region's most accomplished women leaders to mentor the next generation of professionals navigating their careers, their ambitions, and their identities.

The Morning Unfolded

After a warm welcome and a brief overview of the agenda, mentors and mentees dove into the heart of the event: focused, fast, and remarkably real conversations. The format, structured mentoring sessions followed by open networking, was designed to maximize both depth and breadth. In short rounds, mentees brought their sharpest questions and their most honest goals.

The mentors, all Forum members and leaders across the Philadelphia region, brought hard-won wisdom, candor, and no small amount of heart. These are the conversations that don't always happen in performance reviews or strategy meetings. They happen here.

Why The Forum Believes in This Work

2026 Leadership Symposium Recap: When to Evolve — and When to Let Go

An honest conversation about risk, reinvention, and the courage it takes to lead.

On March 12, at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, The Forum's 2026 Leadership Symposium took place.

More than 250 executives, founders, and emerging leaders gathered beneath PAFA's storied ceilings for an evening centered on one of the most quietly urgent questions in leadership today: how do you move forward with confidence when the path isn't fully clear?

PAFA President & CEO Kristen Shepherd opened the night with remarks that set a gracious and grounding tone — a fitting beginning in a space that has long stood at the intersection of tradition and creative courage. Forum President & CEO Meghan Pierce followed, bringing the vision and warmth that has come to define The Forum's community.

The Fireside Chat

The conversation between Amy Smilovic ( Founder, Tibi · Author, Almost Reckless ) and Angela Val ( President & CEO, Visit Philadelphia ) was, by every account, honest and refreshing. Amy drew from her forthcoming book, Almost Reckless , to introduce Creative Pragmatism — a framework for making bold decisions without abandoning strategic clarity. The idea: that the best leaders trust instinct without discarding structure, and take risks that bring teams along rather than fracture them. One metaphor cut through: If your job (or your strategy, or your identity as a leader) is a shirt, when do you simply alter it? When do you cut off the sleeves? And when do you let it go entirely?

The Fireside Chat (cont'd)

It's a deceptively simple question with significant weight. Amy's answer reframed evolution not as a failure of commitment, but as its own form of leadership. Knowing when to move on, from a role, a strategy, even a version of yourself, requires the same courage and clarity as knowing when to stay and build.

Angela brought the question into sharp, local focus: what does it mean to take risks when the brand you're stewarding isn't just a company, but a place — a city approaching its 250th anniversary, carrying the full weight of history while leaning toward what comes next?

The dialogue moved through instinct and principles, identity and adjectives, fearlessness without recklessness, and the particular complexity of taking bold action when you're responsible for other people's livelihoods and futures.

The Forum and Committee of Seventy hosted second annual "Representation Matters" celebration.

The Forum of Executive Women recently partnered with the Committee of Seventy to host the second annual celebration honoring women elected officials across Greater Philadelphia. This nonpartisan gathering brought together women serving at the city, state, and federal levels alongside executive leaders from across the region.

The evening created space for meaningful connection between those shaping public policy and those leading organizations, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in building a stronger future for Philadelphia.

Guests were honored to hear remarks from President Judge Nina Wright Padilla and Mayor Cherelle Parker, whose leadership exemplifies the impact women make when they lead with purpose, courage, and a deep commitment to community.

The Forum Partners with HerClub for an Executive Bootcamp on the Course

Building Confidence, Community, and Career Momentum

This fall, The Forum of Executive Women partnered with HerClub to host a unique Executive Bootcamp—an energizing half-day blend of business insights and golf fundamentals designed to empower women leaders.

We kicked things off with HerClub’s signature “Everything Before the Swing” series, where participants explored:

The common assumptions many women have about golf
The nuances of golfing as a woman in traditionally male environments
How to leverage golf as a strategic career and networking tool

After the session, we headed out to the course for a 90-minute hands-on lesson. Whether participants were picking up a club for the first time or polishing an already solid swing, everyone walked away with personalized tips, improved confidence, and new skills.

Most importantly, participants discovered how golf can open doors—professionally and socially. They built meaningful connections with fellow Forum members and learned to say “yes” to golf invitations, and enjoyed a supportive environment where laughter was just as present as learning.

Women, Wealth, and Power: Preparing for the Wealth Transfer

At The Forum of Executive Women’s 2025 Leadership Breakfast, leaders from across the region gathered to explore how the coming Great Wealth Transfer will redefine women’s influence in business, philanthropy, and civic life.

Setting the Stage: Women Leading Through Change

Board Chair Kate Shields opened the morning by welcoming more than 600 attendees and celebrating the shared belief that drives the organization’s mission — advancing women into positions of power and influence across Greater Philadelphia.

Forum President & CEO Meg Pierce followed, grounding the morning in both reflection and resolve:

“While we’re here to celebrate women’s progress, we must also recognize the persistent pay gaps and barriers that still hold women back,” Pierce shared. “And yet, despite it all, women continue to lead, innovate, and reshape industries. That resilience is what brings us together today.”

The 2025 Women in Leadership Report: Progress

Now in its 24th year, The Forum’s Women in Leadership Report remains the only study of its kind dedicated to tracking women’s professional advancement in the Philadelphia region.

This year’s findings revealed continued momentum:

Women now hold 30% of board seats, up two percentage points from last year.
22% of executive roles and 19% of top-earning positions are now held by women.
The number of women CEOs more than doubled, rising from four to nine.

The Forum also celebrated a record 54 companies named Champions of Board Diversity—the first time a majority of companies surveyed have reached at least 30% women representation on their boards.

“Gender parity in leadership should be the norm, not the exception,” Pierce said. “These numbers only move when leaders act with intention—by championing women, mentoring rising leaders, and calling for accountability.”

Keynote: The Great Wealth Transfer

The morning’s keynote, delivered by Arunima Sinha , Vice President of Global and U.S. Economic Research at Morgan Stanley , examined the coming decade’s massive shift in assets and influence.

As of mid-2025, Americans aged 55 and older hold approximately $123 trillion in net worth, more than five times the total at the start of the millennium. With women comprising nearly 60% of those over 75, Sinha highlighted that women will play a pivotal role in shaping the flow of wealth and power in the years ahead.

“Women’s influence—both direct and indirect—on household financial decisions positions them as key architects of how this transition will shape the economy,” she explained. “This generational shift can serve as a catalyst for more inclusive growth across sectors.”

Panel Discussion: Women, Wealth, and Power

Moderated by Deepti Nagulapalli , Vice President at J.P. Morgan Private Advisory’s Behavioral Science team , the panel brought together four experts who explored the implications of women’s financial leadership—from markets and entrepreneurship to politics and philanthropy.

Nagulapalli framed the conversation with a challenge:

“In a world where wealth so often equates to power, women are poised to step into a moment of unprecedented influence. This is a time to act with intention—to decide how we will use both our wealth and our power.”

Women Driving the Future of the Economy: Arunima Sinha emphasized that as the Great Wealth Transfer unfolds, women’s investment and consumption choices will increasingly shape economic direction, influencing everything from housing trends to asset allocation.

Expanding Influence Through Political Giving: Debbie Walsh, Director of the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University, urged women to embrace political giving as an extension of leadership.
“When women direct resources toward candidates and causes that align with their values, they shape who holds power and what policies move forward,” Walsh said. “Political giving is another way to live our values and expand our civic influence.”

Investing in Women-Led Businesses to Close Wealth Gaps: Tanya Morris, Founder and CEO of Mom Your Business, underscored the need for intentional investment in women- and minority-owned enterprises.
“When women lead, wealth doesn’t just get transferred—it gets transformed,” Morris said. “But without equitable access to funding, land, and digital tools, this wealth transfer could deepen divides rather than close them.”

Women’s Role in the Next Generation of Assets: Lydia Holiat, Vice President and Portfolio Manager at The Haverford Trust Company, focused on stewardship, urging women to prepare to receive and direct wealth with purpose.
“For self, family, and community—we are all called to action,” she said. “How we prepare, decide, and act will determine the legacy we leave behind.”

A Call to Action: The Great Wealth Transfer Demands Bold Leadership

The conversations throughout the morning made one truth clear: women are not just participants in this moment—they are the architects of its impact. The Forum calls on every attendee and reader to turn insight into action.

This month, The Forum of Executive Women hosted a LinkedIn Live conversation exploring the Great Wealth Transfer—a seismic shift that is placing unprecedented financial power in the hands of women. Forum President and CEO Meghan Pierce opened the discussion by highlighting the demographic, economic, and social trends accelerating this transformation, with trillions of dollars expected to change hands globally in the coming decades.

Our featured speaker, Deepti Nagapuli, Vice President of Behavioral Science at JP Morgan Chase, brought a unique perspective on the psychological dimensions of wealth. For many women, Nagapuli explained, money represents more than numbers on a balance sheet. It's about safety, security, opportunity, and the ability to shape not just their own lives, but those of their families and communities.As women gain greater control over wealth, the positive impact will extend far beyond individual households.

Key Themes:

The Psychology of Wealth - Nagapuli described how women often view wealth as a tool for creating safety and opportunity for themselves and those around them. This mindset positions women to be powerful stewards of the coming wealth transfer.

Closing the Intention-Action Gap - Despite good intentions, life's demands can derail even the best financial plans. Nagapuli encouraged women to focus on small, actionable steps. These could include: reclaiming time, investing in themselves, or supporting causes they care about.

Societal and Individual Change - As women's financial influence grows, both individual and societal shifts are expected. Nagapuli predicted that women will increasingly reclaim their time and mental space while encountering resistance to change. She urged women to remain optimistic and persistent, noting that momentum for progress is already building.

Philanthropy, Political Giving, and Entrepreneurship - The conversation explored how women's growing wealth will impact philanthropy, political engagement, and entrepreneurship—especially at the local level. Both speakers encouraged women to think about how their dollars can drive change in their communities, support women entrepreneurs, and influence policy.

The Power of Community - Pierce and Nagapuli underscored the importance of community and mentorship.

Experiencing the Barriers to Reentry

This immersive experience placed participants in the shoes of women returning home after incarceration—navigating the challenges of securing housing and employment, rebuilding relationships, and accessing essential services. Karen Kaufman Named Vice Chair, Erinn Corbett-Wright Appointed Secretary

Philadelphia, PA – September 16, 2025 – The Forum Foundation, the charitable arm of The Forum of Executive Women, announced two key leadership appointments to its board of directors. Karen Kaufman has been named Vice Chair, and Erinn Corbett-Wright has been appointed Secretary, effective immediately.

"We are thrilled to have Karen and Erinn step into these critical leadership roles," said Kimberly Togman, Chair of The Forum Foundation Board. "Their combined expertise and deep commitment to our mission will be invaluable as we continue to advance opportunities for women in leadership."

This week, The Forum hosted our inaugural LinkedIn Live event, bringing together influential voices in Pennsylvania's policy and advocacy landscape for a critical conversation about pay equity. "What's Holding Us Back: Exposing Barriers to Pay Equity in PA" offered a rare opportunity to witness the collective wisdom and forward-thinking strategies of the women who are fighting for workplace equality across our state.

The 30-minute session featured an exceptional lineup of Pennsylvania's equity leaders, hosted by Forum CEO & President Meghan Pierce. Our distinguished panelists included Kelly Sheard, Chief Strategy Officer at WOMEN'S WAY and Representative Jennifer O'Mara of the Pennsylvania House.

This wasn't just another policy discussion. It was a deep dive into the structural and cultural challenges that continue to drive pay inequity, and an exploration of what it will take to create lasting change. We were thrilled to use this platform to spotlight key findings from The Forum's 2025 Pay Equity Report and to explore meaningful ways advocates, employers, and policymakers can work together to close the gender pay gap.

The conversations that unfolded revealed not only the persistent barriers these leaders face in their work, but also their innovative approaches to overcoming obstacles and their compelling visions for achieving true pay equity in Pennsylvania.

Discussion Themes

Throughout the discussion, each panelist reiterated several critical themes. The first is that pay equity encompasses far more than just wages—it's about creating comprehensive workplace equality that includes working conditions, protections, and benefits. The conversation revealed that Pennsylvania's equal pay law hasn't seen meaningful updates since 1960, highlighting the urgent need for legislative modernization.

The second prevailing theme centered on the caregiving burden that disproportionately affects women's career trajectories. Women often face an impossible choice between advancing their careers and fulfilling caregiving responsibilities, leading to workforce exits or reduced earning potential. This systemic issue requires both policy solutions and cultural shifts in how we approach work-life balance.

Lastly, the economic case for change is compelling. Pennsylvania is losing talented women to other states that offer better workplace protections, like paid family leave. Implementing comprehensive equity policies would not only retain and attract talent but also strengthen our state's economy through increased workforce participation and tax revenue.

Call to Action from Panelists

1) Engage in the Political Process

The panelists emphasized the importance of civic engagement: know your lawmakers and make them aware of your priorities. Both individuals and organizations must actively participate in the legislative process to drive meaningful change.

2) Strengthen Enforcement Mechanisms

Representative O'Mara highlighted the need for stronger tools and resources to ensure pay equity legislation can be effectively implemented and enforced at the state level.

3) Lead by Example

Organizations and individuals must move beyond rhetoric to action. This means operationalizing gender equity in policies, practices, and daily interactions from inclusive language to comprehensive benefit structures.

4) Foster Understanding and Collaboration

The conversation emphasized the need for better communication about legislative processes and clearer pathways for different stakeholders to contribute their expertise and resources to the cause.

5) Maintain Momentum

The panelists were clear: until we see meaningful progress on pay equity, the work must continue. This requires sustained effort from advocates, employers, and policymakers working in concert.

The session concluded with a powerful reminder that pay equity isn't just a moral imperative, it is an economic necessity. The Forum's 2025 Pay Equity Report serves as both a diagnostic tool and a roadmap for creating the systemic change Pennsylvania needs to build a more equitable future for all work ers.

Jane Scaccetti has been a leader within The Forum of Executive Women since the 1980s. Over the years, Jane moved in and out of membership, at times feeling The Forum could provide more value to members at different career stages. This year, she brought her vision and experience to the forefront by leading the “What’s Next?” Initiative, designed to support members exploring new chapters after successful careers.

Jane’s advice: If someone comes to you and asks you for help with something, just do it. Make the phone call. Make it part of who and what you are.

“Caring” for Loved Ones in the Triple-decker Sandwich Generation

The Forum is a membership organization and a network of over 600 women leaders representing diverse industries, backgrounds, and lived experiences. In honor of Women's Health Month we are highlighting the thought leadership of Forum Member Betty Long.

Betty Long, RN, MHA, is the President, CEO and Founder of Guardian Nurses Healthcare Advocates and a nationally recognized expert and speaker on patient advocacy.

In the eighties, the term “sandwich generation” aptly described the situation of mothers who cared for their young children and aging parents simultaneously. Today, many women find themselves juggling careers while caring for elderly parents, supporting adult children who return or remain at home, and in some cases lending a hand with grandchildren. It’s the perfect storm that has unfolded to create a new generation: the Triple Decker Sandwich.

Assuming the role of caregiver and navigating the healthcare system can be daunting. Even with the organizational and decision-making skills that most successful business leaders can bring to the task, these are unchartered waters, and emotions can run high when a loved-one’s health is at stake.

Take, for instance, the case of an 80-year-old woman who was rushed to the ER early one morning with a fast heartbeat and severe eye pain. Her daughter left work to join her at the ER, arriving just a few hours later. Her mother reported that ‘someone told me I have a detached retina. They gave me medication, but I don’t know what it was.’ Her daughter spoke with her mother’s nurse and asked for the ophthalmologist to come bedside to help connect the dots. Getting both the eye doctor and her mother’s cardiologist together enabled them to create a game plan and arrange for the vision-sparing eye surgery she required to occur later that afternoon.

What would have happened to her mother if she wasn’t there to advocate for her? Advocacy is the ticket to success. What can you do to empower your loved one and yourself? While every journey will be different, there are several steps to prepare for successful advocacy:

Advocacy Tips for Caregivers

Gather up-to-date records, take them to appointments.
Utilize patient portals: Every health system has an electronic portal. Sign up or gather the necessary sign-on information from you loved one so you can have access to electronic medical record and streamlined communication to and from providers.
Initiate legal paperwork. Gather existing legal forms or have discussions to determine who is going to be the decision maker when your loved one is not able to make decisions:
Healthcare power of attorney
Healthcare advance directive
Stand your ground. You have questions and deserve answers at your appointment. If a provider appears busy or distracted, hold your ground, ask questions, and let them know that you expect clear responses with a roadmap for your loved-one’s care. If you don’t get what you are looking for, push back. And if that fails, it’s time to find another doctor.
Keep providers up to date: We as consumers of healthcare often take it for granted that doctors are talking to each other – don’t assume that is the case.
Get a second opinion. Don’t feel pressured to follow a care plan if something doesn’t feel right. Let your doctor know that you will consider the plan and get a second opinion. They are typically covered by insurance, but if concerned, check with your insurance provider.
If you cannot get an appointment with a new doctor, it can be beneficial to make an appointment with a nurse practitioner within the group, which will establish your loved one as a patient in that practice. Thereafter, it should be easier to get access to the doctor within the same group.
Keep family members in the loop. Create your own email or text chain, or utilize free websites or apps such as CaringBridge.org to communicate about your loved one with family and friends.

Another Layer of the Sandwich: Untangling the Insurance Web

Navigating today’s insurance labyrinth compounds the nearly impossible balancing act. Be prepared to have your advocacy skills and patience put to the test, especially when it comes to claim denials.

A 2023 Kaiser Family Foundation Independent survey of more than 3600 U.S. adults underscores that nearly 60% of insured adults experience problems, and half report a lack of understanding of how aspects of their insurance works. Concerns include cost, complexity, challenges with access, and frustration with navigating an appeal of denied claims.

Healthcare claim denials account for approximately 17% of claims, and can range as high as 49%, depending on the healthcare provider. Several systemic issues hinder patients’ access and understanding of their insurance coverage and the appeals process for denials due to unclear or misleading policy language or inconsistent application of medical necessity criteria. In some cases, patients face unnecessary (sometimes intentional) delays in appeals process.

While studies show that 40% to 50% of health insurance denials are eventually overturned on appeal, the appeal process has posed a universal challenge for patients and caregivers to navigate, which is complicated by a lack of understanding of their benefits, coverage limitations, and where to find help.

You Don’t Need to Go It Alone

Understanding the challenges you are sure to encounter, it’s not unusual to feel isolated or ill-equipped to advocate for loved ones or deal with the healthcare system. Whether you find strength and support from family, or an outside group or organization, it’s important to identify the right people and resources that will help you along the way. Guardian Nurses Healthcare Advocates has advocated for more than 5000 patients over the past 20 years, and in addition to providing advocacy services, provides free informative healthcare and selfcare guidance on its Lighting Your Way podcast.

Armed with a plan and a support system in place, you can feel confident that your advocacy will improve your loved-one’s experience and enhance their clinical outcomes.

This week, The Forum brought together influential figures in Philadelphia's cultural landscape for one of our most important Signature Events of the year. The 2025 Leadership Symposium—"Vision & Voice: Women Transforming Philadelphia's Art Institutions"—offered a rare opportunity to witness the collective wisdom and forward-thinking strategies of the women who are shaping our city's artistic future.

The symposium featured an exceptional lineup of Philadelphia's arts leaders, moderated by Val Gay, Chief Cultural Officer, City of Philadelphia. Our distinguished panelists included Jane Golden, Founder and Executive Director of Mural Arts Philadelphia; Cathy Young, President of Moore College of Art and Design; Maori Karmael Holmes, Founder and Chief Executive and Artistic Director of BlackStar and the BlackStar Film Festival; and Christine Cox, Co-Founder and Artistic and Executive Director of BalletX.

As attendees filled the room, there was a palpable sense of anticipation. This wasn't just another networking event; it was a celebration of leadership, creativity, and the transformative power of the arts in our community. We were thrilled to use this platform to shine a spotlight on Philadelphia's dynamic cultural institutions, the visionary women who lead them, and to explore meaningful ways the business community can support their vital work.

The evening commenced with inspiring welcome remarks from Sasha Suda, George D. Widener Director & CEO of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, followed by a mesmerizing opening performance by harpist Medgina Maitre of the Lyra Society, setting the tone for the conversations to follow.

Discussion Themes

Throughout the discussion, each panelist reiterated several themes. The first is that art does in fact boost our economy. Hundreds of artists move to Philadelphia to pursue their dreams, thus contributing to the rental market. In turn, it's our responsibility to ensure that these artists have access to employment opportunities. Additionally, it's no secret that Philadelphians love festivals and Maori Karmael Holmes pointed out the boom our economy faces before, during, and after events like Black Film Star due to the influx of visitors. And if you didn't know (or haven't been on one), Mural Arts offers a plethora of tours that bring visitors into our neighborhoods (AKA, expose guests to our compilation of cafes, restaurants, and boutiques).

The second prevailing theme was that as business leaders, we must empower our employees to pursue side projects that excite them. Whether it's taking a community art class or performing in theatre, we must recognize our employees have other interests and dreams, and as their mentors, it's our duty to support their passions. We're all better when we have the autonomy (and time!) to pursue our passions. There's always more to learn, and it would be a disservice to our team if we discouraged them from continuing to learn and grow in every aspect.

Lastly, Philadelphia is an art city, and if we want to keep it that way, we all must do our part. Support local artists by hanging up their work in your office. Take your next team outing to the museum or painting class. Sponsor events, and let others know you support the arts.

Call to Action from Panelists

1) Form Meaningful Partnerships

Jane Golden: " For years and years, it was 'save the arts' but no, the arts will save you... Open the door to other ways of thinking. Think about the power of the business community and the art community coming together in partnership."

2) Invest in Arts Education

Cathy Young: "Young people are our future, they are the ones who will lead us and shape our world... Every student at Moore does an internship, our students need to be mentored and advised by people in the fields they want to go into. We are looking for you to come and talk to us about how to shape this education so our students are ready to come and add value to what you do."

3) Sponsorship... and Lend Your Skills!

Maori Karmael Holmes: "There can never be enough sponsorship for BlackStar's work... That said, there are folks in corporate who have different skills than those in nonprofits. If you have extra time to do business proposals, or a sponsorship deck, or lend the skills that you have in PR—people in nonprofits may need that help. Volunteering, serving on boards or committees is always of interest."

4) Get Creative with Your Marketing Budget

Christine Cox: "There are so many opportunities where business and art can come together and activate each other... Look at your marketing dollars differently and think about how you invest that in your community, because people will see it. Invest in the arts and associate your name with organizations that drive community in our cities. There are great opportunities for cross exchange when we are creative."

The Forum hosted its 2025 Pay Equity Roundtable on Thursday, March 13 to paint a holistic picture of the nuanced issue of the gender pay gap and to provide solutions that could help Pennsylvanians achieve pay equity, which would boost our state's economy.

Our 2025 Pay Equity Roundtable was hosted at the Barnes Foundation and expertly moderated by The Forum's Pay Equity Leadership Chair Jeanine Conley Daves . During the discussion, we heard the perspectives of leaders from diverse fields from politics to law to business to social justice.

We asked our expert panelists what they would advocate for if they could make one single change to move the needle forward. Here’s what they said:

"It is with great pride that I share The Forum of Executive Women’s 2024 Impact Report. As the inaugural President and CEO of The Forum, I came into my role with great respect for the history and legacy of our organization. As I reflect on 2024, I am grateful for the members and leaders within The Forum who believed in our shared vision – that The Forum could be the premier voice representing women in the workplace in Philadelphia.

I am pleased that in 2024, we were able to meet the moment, responding to some of the most critical issues facing women – as business leaders, voters, parents and caretakers, and community stakeholders – during a challenging year.

This year was one of exciting transition and growth for The Forum. We kicked off our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, making important commitments to our member experience, advocacy, philanthropy, and the sustainability of our organization.

For the first time ever, our professional staff expanded to four full-time employees. Our membership grew to 646 memebers - our largest count ever. We also welcomed 11 new sponsors in support of our mission. We hosted over 100 events at stunning local venues. We found our voice as advocates for women in the workplace. We gave back to our community through mentoring and nonprofit partnerships. Most importantly, we served as a connecting point for Philadelphia’s most accomplished women leaders and a place where meaningful friendships were built.

Our accomplishments as an organization are a reflection of our members’ dedication to The Forum and the Greater Philadelphia community. Whether you are a legacy member or brand new to our organization, know that The Forum is a place where you can find support. Let’s take a moment to celebrate 2024, as we have much to achieve together in 2025. Onward!"
