Job Overview:
The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing The Forum of Executive Women’s mission by supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of programs, events, and member services. This position works closely with the CEO, Board, Committee Chairs, and staff to ensure high-quality programming, effective committee administration, and meaningful member engagement. The Program Coordinator is also the administrator of two of The Forum’s signature philanthropic initiatives: our Mentoring Program and the Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while fostering strong relationships with members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination:
- Support the CEO, Board, and Committee Chairs in developing and executing The Forum’s program strategy.
- Manage program and Signature Event logistics including registration, communications, pre- and post-event tasks, and attendee support.
- Track and evaluate program effectiveness through surveys and member feedback.
Mentoring Program and The Forum Award:
- Coordinate the nomination process, annual mentee class cycle, and networking events for the Forum’s Mentoring Program.
- Serve as staff liaison with the Mentoring Committee, mentors, and mentees.
- Provide ongoing support, feedback, and improvements for the program.
- Provide administrative support for the Forum Award program and Forum Foundation.
Member Engagement:
- Support the member experience with hands-on, concierge support: assist members with registration, invoices, platform support, and general inquiries.
- Support overall member engagement strategy
Administrative Support and Communications:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, staff, committee chairs, and board members as needed.
- Collaborate with Communications Director to support Forum communications internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience in program coordination, event planning, nonprofit administration, or related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database or CRM systems; experience with event registration platforms and Zoom preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with members, volunteers, staff, and external partners.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Passion for advancing women in leadership and alignment with The Forum’s mission and values.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is $50,000- $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The Forum offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, a retirement savings plan, a paid time off policy, and a professional development stipend.

Location:
This is a remote position, with attendance required at in-person events in the Philadelphia area weekly. Employees are offered membership at a co-working space. Employees must be residents of the Greater Philadelphia area.
