The Forum Foundation
Since its founding in 2004, The Forum Foundation has served as the philanthropic arm of The Forum of Executive Women, channeling the collective energy, influence, and generosity of its members into meaningful impact across Greater Philadelphia. Through targeted mentorship and partnerships, the Foundation has advanced programs that uplift women and girls—supporting leadership development, economic empowerment, and systemic change in the workplace and beyond.
In 2025, The Forum Foundation created a new strategic plan and revamped its signature award. Launched in 2025, The Catalyst Award is a year-long leadership accelerator for women who move the Philadelphia region forward. Nominations will open March 2026.

HISTORY:
The Forum Foundation was born in 2004 from the vision and generosity of The Forum of Executive Women, Philadelphia’s premier network of women leaders. Recognizing the power of collective action, The Forum provided the seed grant that brought the Foundation to life as a nonprofit organization.
Just three years later, in 2007, members rallied once again, contributing more than $100,000 and surpassing the Foundation’s start-up funding goal. This remarkable milestone reflected not only their financial investment but also their belief in a shared goal: to create pathways for women to rise, lead, and shape a more equitable future.
Today, with more than 20 years of history, The Forum Foundation is guided by its mission to promote the advancement of women leaders. The Forum Foundation continues to build upon its founding spirit and envisions a Greater Philadelphia where all women have equitable access to the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to lead and succeed.
