Frequently Asked Questions
1) How much are my dues?
The Forum welcomes new members 4-5 times a fiscal year (our year runs from July 1 –June 30). Depending on when you join, your membership is pro-rated (e.g. if you join in October, you are prorated for 9 months. If you join in December, 7 months).
Once the new fiscal year begins (July 1) you are responsible for the full membership dues listed on our
Membership Page under "Membership Dues."
2) I am a sponsor of the Forum. Does this include my membership?
No level of sponsorship includes membership, unless previously agreed upon with the Forum team in writing.
If you are a Friend of The Forum sponsor you are still expected to pay membership dues.
3) Why can’t I access my account?
There are a few reasons why you may be unable to access your account.
- You may have accidentally made a duplicate account with a secondary email. Make sure to confirm the email you wish to use for FOEW communications with our staff. That will be the email used to log in, unless you choose a distinct username.
- Your work email firewall is sending password reset links to Spam. We encourage using personal emails when possible – corporate security filters are often stronger and may result in communications going to Junk mailboxes.
- Your membership could be ‘inactive,’ meaning you did not renew within the grace period of 90 days. Please contact
Olivia Rettstatt if you think this is the case.
4) Are event tickets to events free for members?
Most of our 100+ events are free to members. Some events incur nominal registration fees to cover costs. Our four Signature Events (Leadership Breakfast, Holiday Party, Leadership Symposium, Annual Meeting) are paid. Forum members receive discounts on Signature Eventt tickets. If you also sponsor The Forum, you will receive complimentary ticket(s) to Signature events. Our team will communicate what that number of tickets is.

5) How do I get an invoice?
Invoices for events are sent automatically to your email (the email saved to your account) after registering for the event. You can also find all event invoices in your member dashboard (details on page 14 of the New Member Dashboard Guide).
If you would like to download your membership dues invoice, you can access it at any time in your member dashboard. Here is a guide to download an invoice.

6) How do I cancel an event registration?
Our paid events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

7) How do I reset my password?
If you would like to reset your Forum password, click the "having trouble logging in" button on the Member Login screen. If you do not receive a reset email 1) double check that you have used the email linked to your Forum account (the email which you receive Forum communications) 2) check your spam folder.

8) How do I get more involved in The Forum?
Please join our monthly "Get Engaged with The Forum" call to learn more about our work, how to get involved, and hear from a Committee Chair and Peer Circle Leader. Find the next call on our Program Calendar.
Join a Committee to get engaged in supporting The Forum's mission. Browse all committees and complete an interest form (bottom of the page) to join.
Join Peer Circle, browse all existing peer circles and contact the Circle Lead (listed on the page) to join. If you would like to create your own Peer Circle, fill out a form (bottom of the page) to get started.
9) How do I sponsor a prospective member?
To sponsor a prospective member’s application, please email Olivia Rettstatt and provide your nominee’s name, title, organization, and email. If the candidate has not already introduced themself directly, please copy them in this email.
10) How do I invite The Forum to speak to my company? / How do I request a Forum speaker?
First, thank you for thinking of us! If you are interested in inviting Forum President & CEO Meghan Pierce to speak about one of our reports (Women in Leadership or Pay Equity) or interested in a Forum speaker you can email Sarah Boorboor directly.
