Join The Forum's Program Committee and Entrepreneurship Peer Circle for a two-part virtual panel series exploring the diverse paths women take to entrepreneurship, designed to inspire and inform Forum members considering starting their own businesses or currently navigating the entrepreneurial journey. Research shows that women starting businesses in their 40s, 50s, and beyond are among the most successful entrepreneurs, with Gen X women (ages 44-59) comprising 69% of women business owners. This series showcases Forum members' real stories across different stages and approaches to entrepreneurship.
This session will dive into:
- How decades of industry/functional expertise became their competitive edge
- What problems they could uniquely solve because of their background
- Translating corporate credibility into entrepreneurial authority
- Why experience matters more than youth in certain contexts
This session is for women 15-30+ years into their career, but are looking to make a career shift into entrepreneurship.
