Join The Forum's LGBTQ+ Peer Circle and TransWork (Independence Business Alliance, Greater Philadelphia's LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce) for an educational workshop on transgender inclusion in the workplace.
In 2022 there were a total of 174 bills attacking transgender people's rights in education, healthcare, public access, etc. In 2025, that number was more than 1,000 (Trans Legislation Tracker). Many transgender people are moving to states with better laws if they are able to, including the city of Philadelphia. With that, inclusive workplaces are needed now more than ever.
TransWork's Inclusive Workplace program takes teams from general content about using affirming language all the way to practical steps that can be implemented immediately.
Topics include:
- Language and pronouns
- Transgender identities and understanding
- Being a leader in making your workplace an affirming, inclusive environment
There will be time for questions during the session, as well as materials follow-up.
