In the 1760s, Elizabeth Graeme Fergusson opened her Philadelphia home to writers, thinkers, and leaders for evenings of conversation, gatherings often called the first literary salons in colonial America. In the spirit of the women who started that tradition, the Forum invites you to The Long Table, an evening of dinner and dialogue at InLiquid Design Studio.
Surrounded by the work of Philadelphia artists, we'll gather around a long table for a family-style dinner, good wine, and a conversation we'll all share. There are no speeches and no side chatter, just one table, three questions, and the chance to truly hear one another. Each question opens a new course and a new chapter of the evening, moving from a good laugh, to an honest admission, to the kind of question that stays with you on the ride home.
Members are invited to bring a friend, a woman whose voice and perspective they want the rest of us to know. Come to learn, to be curious, and to leave with new ideas, new friends, and a deeper sense of the community we're building together.
Seating is limited, so please register in advance.
This event is for Forum members and their guests. Spots are $50 per attendee to cover food and drink. Spots are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
