The Forum on Fox 29: Women's Leadership & The Great Wealth Transfer
President & CEO Meg Pierce on The Ladies Room
We were thrilled to join Fox 29's The Ladies Room to discuss our 2025 Women in Leadership Report and the unprecedented opportunity ahead for women leaders in the Philadelphia region.

Key Highlights from Our Conversation:
📊 Progress, But Not Parity
Our 20+ year tracking of women's representation across the top 100 public companies in Greater Philadelphia shows encouraging movement:
- 58 companies now have 3+ women on their boards (up from 53 in 2023)
- 54 companies are "Champions" with 30%+ women on boards (up from 46)
- 164 women in top earner positions, compared to 486 men
- 9 women CEOs in 2024 (up from just 3 in 2023)
While we're seeing progress, we're still far from parity—and that's why our work matters more than ever.
💰 The Great Wealth Transfer: A Generational Opportunity
Over the next two decades, more than $100 trillion in wealth will pass into the hands of women in the U.S. This shift presents an extraordinary opportunity to:
- Shape markets through intentional spending
- Increase political giving and influence
- Align philanthropy with our values
- Invest locally in women entrepreneurs

Our Call to Action: We're not just reporting the status quo. We're committed to accelerating change. Women leaders have the power to leverage this wealth transfer to create more equitable pathways to leadership.
Thank you to Kathy Orr, Shiba Russell, and Kamryn Scrivens at Fox 29's The Ladies Room for amplifying this critical conversation about women's leadership in our region.
Stay tuned for the 2025 Women in Leadership report—coming soon!
